I-69 Name Change
On November 14th 2004 the satire news site Hoosier Gazette published a fake news article claiming that US representative John Hostettler (a republican representing Indiana's 8th district at the time) wanted to change the designation of Interstate 69 to Interstate 63 because religious conservatives believe "I-69" sounds too risquè. This was of course false, but many mainstream news organizations picked it up as though it were true.
Under construction (more information as it becomes available).
